Read MoreWhen I prayed about homeschooling our kids I made sure I was not searching for a specific answer. This was not usually how I approached prayer. My norm was to ask specific questions that I thought would represent both sides of the coin per say and the way the coin landed was the outcome God preferred.

I started blindly. I didn’t even know what questions to ask for help. I began along side other new moms who had experience teaching, but they were not any help for me.
Hair school was a success. I was a natural and SO eager to hone my skill. I had found something I loved. I volunteered in many different fundraisers because the exposure introduced me to many talented people in the industry. I was not open to put my children’s education into my own hands. I grew up understanding the stereotypes were true & if i adopted this lifestyle, my family would automatically be placed in those boxes. He asked me to pray about it.
