What you need to know:
1. Cowboy Boots are for everyone.
They can be styled in an edgy way, the traditional western way, sexy, casual, or as an elevated city look.
2. When wearing pants with your cowboy boots, have your pants come down to the foot of the boot or a little longer. Do not have them long enough to drag on the floor. They are too short if the hem lands at your ankle.
* Keep in mind that most cowboy boots have a taller heel, it can be as much as one or even two inches higher than regular shoes.
3. Do I need to do anything to my cowboy boots before I wear them?
REAL LEATHER: You will need to condition them.
On the exterior use conditioning creme or consult who you purchased your pair from because they will know how to instruct you about their product.
If they can’t help you then I recommend you choose another store that knows how to assist you with the best care!
FAUX LEATHER: It is common to not have a break in period. You may need to wear them around the house for a while with your socks doubled-up to stretch them out for your foot.
OR, you can use the hack and put a sealed baggie of water in your boot and freeze it. As it expands it stretches the material.
4. What you need to know if you have a wide foot:
Real Cowboy Boots are typically available in 6 widths: B (extra narrow), C (narrow), D (regular), E (wide), EE (extra wide), and EEE (triple wide).
How do I know if I need wide cowboy boots?
The instep on a boot covers the top of your foot and is a big part of determining whether or not the boot fits. If the instep is too tight, try a wider width. If it's too loose, try a narrower width.
Or, choose a pair that has a square toe leaving you more room for your foot.

It can be hard to hide your bra straps with a square neckline. Higher price point pieces have little snaps you can attach to your strap at your shoulders.
