CAMO JACKET LOOKS
This is a FUN How to Wear Series. I loooove camo print and this jacket was a fabulous find. Places to buy this jacket this season are at American Eagle, Nordstrom Rack, Old Navy and the Gap. I usually buy my jackets in XS because I like them to fit snug, not restricting, but fitted. This particular cut is boyfriend style: more of a loose fit that resembles when you wear your boyfriends clothes. Because of this cut I am able to layer it with sweaters!
Mixing Prints is still a thing!! Keep them in the same tone of colors and voila, you have a fun combination. Stripes and Camo are a fun blend that keeps it perfect for a casual occasion. I styled this look with short block heel sandal to kick it up a notch.
Can anyone say AMEN!!?! LOL. I was excited when the inspiration popped in my head to create this look. I love white jeans, then adding the mustard yellow bodysuit and camo... this just screams get me out of the house! Wear this look to a summer festival or the pumpkin patch on a beautiful day. (If I did wear this to the pumpkin patch I'd switch out the sandals and wear my converse so I could play with my family).
Graphic Tees will forever be a staple in my closet. I actually don't love Guns N' Roses but I do adore their tee paired with this coat. The jeans are Old Navy's High-Waisted AKA the Power Jean (size down when purchasing- they stretch A LOT and are super comfy).
Canadians and mid-westerners are losing our opportunity to wear shorts as fall creeps closer and closer but, this look is an awesome inspiration for all of you who can wear shorts into October. The mustard yellow bodysuit is featured here again. I like to be able to wear each piece in my closet at least 3-6 ways pending on how I style it. Definitely keeps me on my toes with creativity.
This outfit makes a statement. Who doesn't love all black and then add cognac boots and camo to switch things up a bit. This says just grab a glass of wine, gather the girls and have a great time!
The simplicity of a white tee and its versatility. Tatoo this outfit on your mind when you feel you have nothing to wear. You are guaranteed to feel polished and comfortable no matter where you are going.
Leather shorts for fall??!? UMMM, heck yes!! Fall 2019 gave its stamp of approval of all things leather. Tops, shorts, skirts, dresses, trench coats, vests, blazers, bracelets... pull out your pieces whether faux or real and rock them!
P.S. don’t put your inspiration for your leather pieces in a box- they are not just for going out. You can soften your leather look with pieces by what you pair them with.
E.g. This tee and open sandal softens this look.
Another leather look example. This faux leather skirt is so comfy to wear. I even wear it to the grocery store. Yup, somedays I just get ready to go get food. Not because I have too, but because I want to. Getting ready really is so fun for me and an amazing creative outlet.
P.S. I usually don't like to wear two leather items at once. I make an exception when my boots are far enough away from my skirt and not competing with it.
